SK ease past fnatic

SK Gaming have moved to the top of Group B after a 16-7 win over fnatic on de_nuke.

A flying start from SK saw them comfortably break through fnatic's defence and earn a solid 5-0 lead on the Terrorist side. fnatic's aggressive strategy in the sixth round almost paid dividends, but Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg's three frags denied his former team.

fnatic would score for the first time in the following round, though, when SK waited too long and ran out of time to make their move. With the scoreline 6-1, SK won the following four rounds to be up by an amazing nine rounds. However, fnatic finally picked themselves up, and won three of the next four rounds as the scoreboard showed 11-4 in favour of SK.

GeT_RiGhT beats former team

In the second half, fnatic won the all-important pistol round, and the following two rounds, but that was all they got, as SK picked up five rounds in a row to run out 16-7 winners.

With this result, SK have taken a giant step towards reaching the playoffs, while fnatic, the European champions, are in trouble to finish day 1 at the top.
